Tim is Defined Health’s “on the ground” point of contact for our European clients. He is responsible for developing business and managing clients from the European office of Defined Health, located in Basel, Switzerland.
Tim participates in and manages core assessment and strategic consulting projects, with special emphasis on cardiovascular, anti-infective and respiratory & allergy therapeutic categories. His background spans the whole product life-cycle from initial product profile via global product launches to post-patent strategies. He has led the commercial focus of many compound development programs with R& D project teams and the identification and evaluation of business development opportunities. Tim has led multi-functional / multi-cultural commercial assessment teams and has been involved in managing a number of product licensing and product development partnerships involving Japanese and US companies, most recently for levofloxacin with Daiichi and Johnson & Johnson.
Tim was previously Franchise Head Europe for antibiotics at sanofi-aventis. Prior to that, he held positions as Global Director New Products Cardiovascular at Aventis and Global Director Anti-infectives at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer. He has also worked for Abbott and Eli Lilly.
